Schedule View

In certain scenarios the Schedule view within the application became compromised via the job request cancellation view in SDC. This defect has been resolved.

Browser: Time-sheet enhancements

We have made further enhancements to the SmartAsset browser time-sheet function to include the following.

Clicking on a time sheet for a second time will remove the entry from the list
We have removed the green ‘pulse’ while selecting job items as this was cluttering the screen
A user can now export their time sheets to .CSV via the browser.
If a time sheet is added for a future date, we automatically set the work day to today.

SDC/ODC: Time-Sheet with Job Steps

If a user was creating a time-sheet entry in SDC for a job step, the application was incorrectly applying the job step sequence number to additional records. This issue has been resolved.

SDC: Options > Extras

Users were experiencing error messages when accessing the ‘Options > Extras’ area of the application.

We have corrected this problem.

Info | Tip

In SDC you may want users to access certain areas of the ‘Code Table’ configuration within the application. For example you may want users to have the ability to update Originator Data but nothing else. This can be configured within the application and accessed via the ‘Options > Extras’ drop down list. Contact support for more info.

Browser: Checklist reading update

The smartasset browser and mobile app were incorrectly validating job checklist entries relating to asset readings. This issue has been addressed.

Info | Tip

historically users were required to use a job checklist or excel add-in to update an assets readings. You can now update the asset directly via the mobile app and SmartAsset browser ‘Readings’ tabs.

Mobile App: Asset Code/Description

Users requested we append the asset code and description to the main ‘Job Details’ screen of the mobile app. This is now available.

Mobile App: Job creation flow

By default we redirected users to the ‘My Jobs’ screen once a job had been raised. We have now changed this flow to re-direct the user to the newly created jobs ‘Job Detail’ screen allowing them to directly access and modify the job where required.

Browser: Link to release notes

We now provide a link to your current browser release notes directly via the browser info page.

Soon we will supply a direct link to your database and client side software through the same panel giving you direct access to all required files.

Mobile App: App does not remember username and password

When using the mobile app users are forced to enter their email address and password each time. This issue has been addressed.

Mobile App: Forgotten password link

Users now have the ability to click on a forgotten password link via the mobile app (as they can in the browser)

Mobile App: Issue button available for items that cannot be issued (Job materials)

Users were being shown the ‘Issue’ button from within the mobile app on items that could not be issues (non stocked). This has been addressed.

Browser - Asset Details page does not display Job Requests records

The Asset Details page was not displaying Job Requests records correctly. This issue has been addressed

Mobile: Supplementary data “last updated” date not updating

When updating a supplementary data record for an asset via the mobile app, the last changed date was not reflecting this correctly. This issue has been addressed.
