Introduction

Due to asset maintenance requirements the link between the asset and standard activity/s may need to  be broken.

You cannot break the link between an asset and a standard activity if there is an open job. The job must be closed first, making the link status ‘in-active’. However, if a standard activity has been set with a trigger action of Auto Job, the trigger action must be set to Manual Job, saved and then the job closed to achieve an ‘inactive’ status. Auto Jobs will always be active.
