Code Tables – Performance
Activity Types
A 4 character (alphabetic and/or numeric) code to identify a category of maintenance activity.
Recording of activity type in job history enables analysis by type of maintenance activity
“What type of maintenance activity?”
Typical Activity Causes would be;
- Cleaning
- Inspection
- Overhaul
- Refurbishment
- Repair
- Replacement
- Service
1. Click the [+] sign adjacent to Performance to view options
2. Click the [+] sign adjacent to Activity Types to view existing Activity Types. In a new database a code of ‘New’ will be visible
3. Click an Activity Type by clicking on any code, followed by the New icon (circled in red)
When the ‘New’ icon has been selected, the data will be cleared
4. Enter a valid Activity Type and Description as per the image below
5. Click the Save icon to record your information
Note:
All ‘Performance’ codes are added and/or updated by using the same process of selecting the code, then selecting new, entering valid data and selecting save.
- Add 2 more additional Activity Types
6. Click the [-] sign to contract Performance so your view is as per the image below
Activity Causes
A 4 character (alphabetic and/or numeric) code to identify a cause of maintenance activity.
Recording of activity causes in job history enable analysis by reason for the maintenance activity.
“What was the cause of the maintenance activity?”
Typical Activity Causes would be;
- Breakdown
- Corrective
- Preventative
- Reactive
7. Click the [+] sign adjacent to Performance to view options
8. Click the [+] sign adjacent to Activity Causes to view existing Activity Causes
In a new database a code of ‘New’ will be visible
9. Click an Activity Cause by clicking on any code, followed by the New icon (circled in red)
When the ‘New’ icon has been selected, the data will be cleared
10. Enter a valid Activity Cause and Description as per the image below.
11. Click the Save icon to record your information
Note:
All ‘Performance’ codes are added and/or updated by using the same process of selecting the code, then selecting new, entering valid data and selecting save.
12. Click the [-] sign to contract Performance so your view is as per the image below
