Problem:
When opening Samm, sometimes a warning message comes up saying the app requires updating in order for it to be compatible to the server. This gives you two options: Continue and App Store.
When you select app store, it takes you to Samm within the App Store.
In some cases that may shows OPEN instead of UPDATE.
Resolution
From the home screen, open the App Store and go into updates (in the bottom right hand corner) and refresh.
