The skills matrix page is accessed via the left sided navigation by clicking Workforce --> Skills matrix.
This section allows users to view a summary report of skills matrix that has been setup and configured based on the worksite(s) specific requirements. To find out more on how to configure and manage skills matrix detail page click here.
1. Worksite Selector
This section located on the top left of the page allows users to the select the worksite(s) that they wish to run report on.
2. New skills matrix
This section allows users to create a new skills matrix from scratch. To find out more about this section click here.
3. View tab
This section allows users to view a summary of skills matrix report. The following information is displayed in this section:
1. Skills matrix selection drop down menu
This drop down menu allow users to choose the desired skills matrix to view. All saved and active skills matrix will appear in this drop down menu.
- Note: The default skills matrix will load on the screen when accessing the skills matrix page. User can change the default skills matrix in the saved matrixes tab based on the worksite(s) or user preferences.
2. Analysis of summary
This section displays a summary on the skills status of the selected employees. The following information is displayed in this section:
- No. of employees selected
- No. of skills selected
- No. of valid skills of the selected employees
- No. of expired skills of the selected employees
- No. of skills to be review in next 90 days of the selected employees
- No. of restricted skills of the selected employees
- No. of quarantined skills of the selected employees
- No of archived skills of the selected employees
Note:
- Users can click on the skills status summary to view report for that skill status only. For example, click on valid skills status to view the list of employees with a valid and active skills only.
3. Skills matrix table
This section allows users to find workers with required skills based on the worksite(s) preferences. User can also use this table chart as a gap analysis tool to forecast labour and understand where the skill gaps are. The following information is displayed in this section:
- Shows employee name with a Damstra badge id
- Click on the name to open the employee's profile page on a separate browser page. To find out more on employee's profile page click here.
- Shows additional information on the employee's profile as columns on the table. These columns can be added or removed in the skills matrix detail page. To find out more on the skills matrix detail page click here. The following columns are displayed based on the worksite(s) preferences:
- Crew name
- Department name
- Latest medical expiry date
- Date of birth
- Date when the employee was last on site
- Company name
- Company start date
- Job titles
- Last negative drug test
- Last negative alcohol test
- Induction expiry date
- Shows list of specific skills selected in skills matrix detail page of the selected employees. The table will show a list of the selected skilled and statuses in their respective columns. The following information is displayed in this section:
- Skill name
- Skill code
- Skill level
- As of date
- Expiry date
- Skill status
- Note: Skill statuses are colour coded.
4. Summary
The section displays a final summary on the skills matrix for all selected skills at the bottom of table chart. The following information is displayed:
- Level competent / appointed
- Level: Sleeping skill
- Total valid skills
- Percentage vaild
- Total skills to review in 90 days
- Total expired skills (to review)
- Total quarantined skills
- Total skills still to review this year
Note:
- Use left mouse key to scroll the table from left to right or vice versa.
- Click download button on top right to export skills matrix report into excel
- Click
on the top right edit the current skills matrix report on the skills matrix detail page.
4. Saved matrixes tab
This section provides a quick view to all saved matrixes for the selected worksite(s). The following information is displayed in the section:
- Matrix name
- Click on the matrix name to open the skills matrix detail page on a separate browser page. To find out more on the skills matrix detail page click here.
- Worksite name
- Visibility
- User can check whether the selected skill matrix is visible to owner, public or shared with specific individuals.
- Your default matrix
- Date created and creator name
- Last updated date and modifier name
- Details button
- The details button located on the right allows users to access skills matrix detail page of the selected skills matrix.
- Click
located on the right to perform the following actions:
- Copy matrix
- User can copy the selected skills matrix and use it as a template for a new skills matrix if they don't want to create it from the scratch.
- Share matrix
- User can share the selected matrix with one or multiple employees.
- Delete matrix
- User can delete the selected matrix from the saved matrixes list.
- Note: The deleted skill matrix can be viewed in deleted matrixes tab.
- Copy matrix
5. Deleted matrixes
This section provides a quick view to all deleted matrixes for the selected worksite(s). The following information is displayed in the section:
- Matrix name
- Worksite name
- Visibility
- Create date and created by name
- Deleted date and deleted by name
- Revert button
- User can click on the revert button to undo the delete action on the selected skills matrix. The selected skills matrix will appear in the saved matrixes tab once reverted back.
