Release Features
SDC-Hotfix: upload/download library when using the API
There is a feature in SDC to use API to upload and download the library attachments using a shared location between SDC, Web and Mobile app.
SDC-Hotfix: updating originator password
updating the password of an originator via SDC using API.
SDC-Hotfix: Supply Chain - Purchase Order cannot be invoiced
In the Supply Chain – Supplier Invoice Update form, safsCP300, the user experienced an error when trying to invoice purchase orders. The error related to a mismatch in the supplier code values of the invoice and purchase order.
Whilst the text of the supplier code was exactly the same, the mismatch was actually caused by a trailing space wrongly added to the PO supplier code value.
This issue has now been rectified whereby the system will ensure that supplier code values are trimmed of any trailing spaces before being saved against the purchase order.
SDC-Hotfix: update asset Item
In the Asset Update form, safs090, once an asset was created, the user could no longer modify the asset level or parent asset values of the asset item if the user had originally saved incorrect values against the asset and needed to rectify them.
This issue has now been corrected.
SDC-Hotfix: modifying an existing standard activity
In the Asset Update form, safs090, the user encountered the following issues when trying to modify an asset standard trigger data in the ‘Standard Activities’ tab of the form.
- The system generated a null system error when trying to delete the asset standard trigger row inside the Asset Standard Trigger datagrid of the tab.
- The 'Trigger Type' column was not getting populated with the appropriate value and ended up containing null values. This resulted in a null system error when the user modified any column value of the asset standard trigger row and then tabbed out of that column field.
- Trying to save a modified asset standard trigger row generated an error in the underlying database stored procedure and again caused the system to fail.
All of the above issues have now been corrected.
SDC: Display supplier invoice line number with the supplier invoice in PO/Transfer Receipts form -> PO line
In the Supply Chain – PO/Transfer Receipts form, safsCP260, when looking at Purchase Order Receipts, the same supplier invoice number is being displayed across all lines, even when they should be different. This is because the system failed to show the invoice line numbers which made an invoice number with multiple lines look like it was the same invoice number being repeated across different PO lines.
This issue has now been rectified with the full supplier invoice number including its line number being displayed in the PO line details datagrid.
Excel Add-in-Hotfix: opening Excel Add-in
When invoking Excel add-in, if there are multiple connections set-up in the config file, the database connection dialog fails to list them and shows up empty.
This issue has now been corrected.
Excel Add-in-Hotfix: display Validate/Save button for the tables without any mandatory fields
In Excel add-in, If there are mandatory columns specified in the view used to select the columns of the selected table, then these columns get highlighted with an asterisk (*) and the user then needs to select all of these (*) highlighted columns for the 'Validate' and 'Save' buttons to appear in the toolbar ribbon.
However, for the ‘ScheduleUploadData’ table, not all the mandatory columns are getting highlighted with an asterisk (*).
As a result, the user does not realize that there are more mandatory columns that need to be selected and the 'Validate' and 'Save' buttons fail to appear for the user.
This problem is being caused because of the assumption there are going to be no mandatory columns specified from outside the table proper in the column selection database view used by the system for this functionality.
This issue has now been corrected.
Mobile/Browser-Hotfix: Add/Update Asset/Job Remarks
In the SmartAsset Mobile App, the system does not asset remarks to be saved with single quotation marks (‘) in its text. This was because instead of using the UTF8 character set, it wrongly used the ASCII character set to encode the remarks.
This issue has now been rectified.
Browser: Test/Prod Indicator
Since test and prod can be accessible from same web url, there is an indicator displaying at the top of the web app to indicate login is to the test or prod environment.
Browser: Add more filters to tracking dashboard
In the SmartAsset Browser App, the Reservation search capability was extended by adding the following new filter parameters to the Tracking Dashboard:
- Name (Reservation)
- of Items
- Asset Description
