Key Changes
Assignment of Sensitive Persons to Sensitive Events
Until this release, any Sensitive Person could be assigned to any Sensitive Event. This release has introduced a new setting "Global Sensitive Users".
By default, this checkbox is ticked and so the system continues to behave as before, where any Sensitive Person can be assigned to any Sensitive Event.
If you untick this checkbox, then:
- Someone creating or editing a Sensitive Event in the Damstra Safety web application can only assign a particular Sensitive Person to the event if all of the following are true:
-
-
- The Sensitive Person is a worker or contractor worker whose record is visible with the Site Selection filter applied by the person creating or editing the Sensitive Event.
- The Sensitive Person’s user record meets both of these criteria:
- The Sensitive User checkbox is ticked.
- The Sensitive User’s access permissions provide a minimum of Read access for the Risk > Events > Events Registers permissions node for the Accountable Site of the Sensitive Event.
-
- Someone creating a Sensitive Event in the web portal can only assign a particular Sensitive Person to the event if all of the following are true:
-
-
- The Sensitive Person is a worker or contractor worker whose record is visible in the web application with the Site Selection filter configured in the same way as the portal’s site configuration.
-
We have also made a couple of minor UI changes to make the relationship between site selection and sensitive user selection more clear:
- On the Add Event and Edit Event screens, the Accountable Site and Department fields are shown before the Sensitive Event checkbox.
- On the Edit Event screen, the order of the Reporter/Person Involved and Location & Subject accordions are swapped.
Audit log enhancements for Sensitive Events
Audit log events are now recorded when an event is:
- A Sensitive Event is added via the Damstra Safety web application or the web portal
- A normal event is changed to be a Sensitive Event.
- A Sensitive Event is changed to be a normal event.
- A Sensitive User is assigned to or removed from an existing Sensitive Event.
