Example use case - Link vehicle inspection form to Damstra Safety

1. Configure date:

• Add a "Date" field. Go into the Settings option (wheel on the right of field).
• Click on Advanced Settings and scroll down to the Integration Tag section, where you will type in “check_date”. 

2. Configure person:

• Add a "List" field. Go into the Settings option (wheel on the right of field).
• Use the Data Source : Project List dropdown to select what you want the list to be. For this example, it is all people inducted onto this site (i.e. Site Inductees).

• Add a "Formula" field. Go into the Settings option (wheel on the right of field).
• In the Formula field, type in the formula to pull the Damstra Safety ID information from the above list field. This will enable Damstra Safety to locate the right worker for the inspection record.
• Click on Advanced Settings and scroll down to the Integration Tag section, where you type in “ds_person_id”.

3. Configure vehicle asset:

• Add a "List" field. Go into the Settings option (wheel on the right of field).
• Use the Data Source : Project List dropdown to select what you want the list to be. For this example, it is all vehicle assets on this site (i.e. Vehicle).

• Add a "Formula" field. Go into the Settings option (wheel on the right of field).
• In the Formula field, type in the formula to pull the Damstra Safety Asset ID information from the above list field. This will enable Damstra Safety to locate the right vehicle asset for the inspection record.
• Click on Advanced Settings and scroll down to the Integration Tag section, where you type in “ds_asset_id”.

4. Configure asset type:

• Add a "Formula" field. Go into the Settings option (wheel on the right of field).
• In the Formula field, type in "T" as fixed value. This will enable Damstra Safety to understand that the asset type is transport.
• Click on Advanced Settings and scroll down to the Integration Tag section, where you type in “ds_asset_type”.

5. Configure inspection findings:

• Add a "Formula" field. Go into the Settings option (wheel on the right of field).
• In the Formula field, type in string formula to get the short description structured from other values in the fom. This will be passed to Damstra Safety as findings of the inspection record.
• Click on Advanced Settings and scroll down to the Integration Tag section, where you type in “short_description”.
