About Managing Users
Damstra Workforce Management for worksite users provides the capability to add, edit and delete users.
Navigate to All crews in Workforce Management
When you've logged into Damstra Workforce Management you can access User Management from System Settings > User Management and you can then choose to maintain your users in User login accounts.
View the list of Users
The User login accounts page provides the list of user accounts that are set up for your worksite.
In the list of user accounts, you can;
- View the User name
- View the Users email address
- View the worksites that the user can view
- View the Users role
- View the user account details about for a user by clicking the "Details" button
The User login accounts page also provides the capability to search for a user as well as creating a new user .
Creating a new user
New user accounts can be created by clicking on the create new users button.
When adding a new user account you enter the user's:
- Name
- Mobile number
- Role
- Worksite
Once all the information has been entered the "create user" button is selected
Viewing user accounts
A user accounts details can be viewed by clicking on the details button
You can view the below information:
- Account status
- Account details
- Permissions and access
- Alerts & notifications
Configuring Permission and Access
There are several types of permissions and access that you can configure for a user.
To configure permission and access;
- Click the respective alert menu
- Select the permission
- Click update
Configuring alerts and notifications
There are several types of alerts and notifications that you can configure for a user.
Even though an email address is entered in the personal details section as user's email and / or contact number must be set up prior to alerts and notifications being configured for that user.
To configure alerts and notifications;
- Click the respective alert menu
- Select the alert
- Select the terminal/s the alerts and notifications are to be received from if applicable
- Select the mode the user will receive the alert via
-
- SMS
- Email and SMS
-
- Click update
Editing User Accounts
A user account details can be edited by clicking on the details button
You can edit the below information:
- Account status
- Account details
- Permissions and access
- Alerts & notifications
Deleting a User Account
A user account can be deleted by clicking on the action button and selecting delete user or by selecting delete user in the user details page.
