Wednesday 27 July 2021: Mobile app updates in preparation for domain changes

What’s changing?

The Damstra Forms mobile apps on iOS, Android and Windows have been updated in preparation for a forthcoming change to the domains and therefore the URLs used in the Damstra Forms application.

There is a forthcoming change that will result in Damstra Forms using URLs with a structure of <customer>.<region>.damstraforms.com rather than the current structure of <customer>.apemobile.com. For example, a fictional customer called XYZ would have a URL change from xyz.apemobile.com to xyz.au.damstraforms.com.

The change done in the mobile apps will provide for a smooth transition to the new URLs once they go live.

In addition, there has been a minor UI change to provide search functionality on all register screens.

Why is it changing?

This change is necessary to minimise customer disruption resulting from the forthcoming URL change.

When is it changing?

The release happened on Wednesday 27 July 2021 for iOS and Windows, and is expected to happen on Thursday 28 July 2021 for Android.
