The Session details screen appears when you select the Details button on a session that's listed on the Health & safety calendar screen.
You can use this screen to view and update session details, topics/skills, and attendees.
Update session details
In the upper section of the Session details screen, you can view all basic information about the session such as description, date, time, location, trainer/presenter, etc. You can click on the options on the right side to:
- Complete session when it is finished.
- Add to your calendar before the session starts as a reminder.
- Cancel session if it is no longer needed.
If you want to update the details of the session, you can click on the Session details tab to do so:
Session details
- Session name - a brief name or summary of the session
- Description - a more detailed description of the session
- Additional settings:
- This session can be managed within the mobile app by all members of this worksite:
Select this option if you want anyone who is member of the worksite specified above to be able to select the session in the mobile app, record attendees and upload attachments. - Session can be booked via the public website:
Select this option if the session can be booked via the Damstra website. - Enable competency rating for each attendee:
Select this option if after the completion of the session you would like to be able to mark each attendee as Competent or Not yet competent.
- This session can be managed within the mobile app by all members of this worksite:
Date, time and location
- Session date, start and end time
- Total session time - use this field if not all hours between the session start and end time need to be counted, e.g., if there is a lunch break during the session that needs to be excluded.
- Session location - you can specify this, if necessary, after specifying the worksite in the section above.
Trainer/presenter
- For an internal trainer/presenter, click Internal employee and then select a person from the drop-down list.
- For an external trainer/presenter, click External person and then type the trainer/presenter's name in the field.
Capacity
- You can specify the maximum number of the session attendees. If you do, then later down the track when you start registering attendees, you will only be able to register up to this number.
- You can either select No max attendee limit.
Update topics/skills
If you want to configure the topics or skills that are being covered in the session, you can click on the Topics/skills tab to do so. You can:
- Click on Add topic/skill to have a new skill to add to employee's profile after attending this session.
- Click on Drop files here or click to upload in either new skill section or existing skill section to upload documents for the skill(s).
Update attendees
You can click on the Attendees tab to manage session attendees.
