What’s changing?
In response to several customer requests, Damstra Forms has been updated to allow clients to prevent forms from being duplicated via the following means:
- An organisation setting, which will mean that no forms can be duplicated regardless of which template they were created with.
- A template setting, which will mean that clients can configure their form templates to allow or disallow the duplication of forms created using particular templates.
If the organisation setting allows duplication, individual templates can be configured to prevent duplication. But if the organisation setting prevents duplication, this cannot be overridden at a template level.
The change applies to the Damstra Forms web application and mobile applications on all platforms.
Why is it changing?
Several clients have requested this capability, as they have identified potential safety risks with old form data being copied into a new form.
When is it changing?
The release happened on Thursday 3 June for:
- The web application changes for the Organisation Settings and Template Editor
- The iOS and Android mobile applications.
The Windows mobile app is due to be released by Friday 11 June.
