Release overview

• What: Insights, a graphical self-service report builder.

• Who gets these changes: All clients.

Key changes

Under the main menu item "Dashboards", a new "Insights" sub-item has been enabled. It provides authorised users with access to Insights, a powerful and flexible self-service tool for creation of visualised reports and dashboards.

From the Insights landing page, the user can access:

• Sources - sources of data available in Safety (registers, etc.) This is a service tab containing reference data, its content cannot be updated by Safety users.
• Visual Gallery - a gallery of individual Visuals (visualised reports). Visuals can be of different types (tables, bars, pies, donuts, heat maps, etc.), they have customisable labels and colours, the data can be easily filtered, sorted, grouped as required. There are also other fine-tuning features available such as zooming, cascading and so on.
  Visuals can be viewed individually or added to dashboards, saved as images or exported to different formats to be used outside of Insights and Safety. Multiple pre-defined visuals are provided and new can be added.
• Library - a library of dashboards, which are suites of Visuals that can be further fine-tuned using additional filters and other settings. Multiple pre-defined dashboards are provided and new can be created or imported (JSON format). Dashboards can be also exported to different formats.
